A lean, small nefortu at first glance.  Large brown eyes take most of the
face of this creature.  His small round nose sitting above his mouth.  His
large ears are pointed, and seem to droop from time to time.  His small lips
seem pressed deeply into his face.  His large, raven black wings jut from
his back, of little use than the occasional flight it would look.  His skin
is taught and thick looking, a deep onyx color from what can be seen.  
Wynliean has quite a few wounds.

Wynliean offers a glance at the priest, then turns his gaze back to the shadow before him.

A shadowy figure frowns, saying 'Well, then. Speak. Or have you no voice?'

A shadowy figure draws her hand up to her obscured face, smiling wryly.

Wynliean looks at you.

Wynliean offers 'I do indeed have a voice.'

ynliean states 'Though the journey and yourself are rather.. keeping my mind quiet at the moment.'

A shadowy figure folds her hands in front of her chest, the shadows blending with one another. She says, her tone pleased, in arcane, 'Good.'

A shadowy figure tilts her head slightly, asking, in arcane, 'Oh?'

Wynliean nods, fingering the edges of his robes 'Indeed, it is rare that I see one that seems to be able to peer into my soul and see me for who I am.'

A shadowy figure gives a silent flap of her wings, closing the gap between you and herself.

A shadowy figure says smoothly, in arcane, 'And it is rare that one gets an opportunity such as this. Most would not squander it as you currently are.'

Wynliean offers 'I've no intention to squander anything I assure you.'

A shadowy figure chuckles, her laugh smooth as silk. She muses, in arcane, 'Yet let us go somewhere more.. private.'

A shadowy figure curls her fingers toward you, beckoning you to follow.

Wynliean now follows you.

A Rich Shuddeni Dwelling

(Red Aura) A shuddeni elder reclines in his luxurious dwelling.

A shadowy figure pauses in the dwelling, then glances at the elder.

Wynliean looks at the shuddeni elder.

A shadowy figure lands before the elder, then leans forward.

Wynliean boggles at the concept.

A shadowy figure gives a wry smile, heaving the body from its chair.
A shadowy figure sits in the chair, crossing her legs which again blend into one another. She says softly, in arcane, 'Then speak.'

Wynliean offers 'I shall indeed as I surmise one of the recent scrolls I have sent has been read and thought well enouph upon to speak with me.'

Wynliean nods to you slowly and states 'I shall then explain that I am a man of wit and mind more so than of outright death and frontal assault.'

A shadowy figure gives a silent nod. Though you cannot see her eyes-- nor anything on her visage-- you have the distinct feeling of being watched.

Wynliean offers, giving the chair a quick glance 'I seek to work my ways and my words more so than my staff and dagger.'

Wynliean says 'It is by grace that I have come across the old texts of Serachel, and the ideals of the shunned halls. And yet, it is though I was bread and born to do nothing less than be part of them.'

Wynliean> [OOC (arcane)] a shadowy figure: bred. not bread. ;)

[OOC] Wynliean: Heh, excuse that, first time I've just been randomly confronted by something i have never seen before.

A shadowy figure offers, finally breaking her silence, in arcane, 'And how is this?'

Wynliean offers, bowing his head 'Because the two go hand in hand, and as such are the very premise of my soul if you would.'

Wynliean states, raising his head slightly 'I am by no means a warrior, nor have I the body to be such.'

A shadowy figure leans back in the chair, her wings splayed around its back. She states smoothly, in arcane, 'You realize that that tells me nothing. You are clearly a scholar, a student of flame.'

Wynliean nods.

Wynliean grins, explaining 'Indeed, though that is of course only a mere portion of what I seek to be.'

A shadowy figure says, her voice cool, in arcane, 'Then tell me, scholar, of the Whole. And of the 'premise of your soul.''

Wynliean says 'If my widlest ideals were to come to me, I would be a mere shadow as you are madam.'

Wynliean states 'I would bring power and wisdom to myself beyond the reach of barbaric mortals, yet never myself face the frontal assaults of a warrior.'

Wynliean says 'Ensnaring a mans heart and lust with promise, and using his own mind against him, would be the tools of my rise, and the rise of those whom are of like mind.'

Wynliean offers 'I have but once slain a man. And that was my mother and father as a child. For my reasons of becoming what I seek.'

A shadowy figure tilts her head slightly. She says coolly, in arcane, 'You seek to be.. me?'

A shadowy figure notes, in arcane, 'This is not what I have come to speak with you on.'

Wynliean grins 'I could never seek to be you, but like you actually.'

A shadowy figure nods faintly, interlacing her fingers with satisfaction. As before, the two blend into one another, simply appearing to be a mass of shadow.

Wynliean offers 'If you wish to know my soul. Then of course you shall have what you wish.'

A shadowy figure nods once, leaning forward. She pries, in arcane, 'Do. What is it that you.. seek?'

Wynliean offers 'I seek to garner as much power and knowledge as I can plainly.'

A shadowy figure inquires, in arcane, 'For yourself?'

Wynliean offers 'Nay, for the ideals that I hold, and those that hold the same as I.'

A shadowy figure says, her voice indicating pleasure, in arcane, 'Good. To what end, then?'

Wynliean offers 'To whatever end it takes to ensure that they are stronger than the rising arrogance of the mortals.'

A shadowy figure tilts back her head, giving a piercing laugh.

Wynliean offers 'If I were to have to give my soul to the silver veil to ensure that I could hold sway over them, then it would of course be given.'

Wynliean offers himself a faint chuckle then licks his lips slightly.

A shadowy figure notes, in arcane, 'You are nothing more than a mortal yourself, scholar. Your words betray impertinence.'

Wynliean offers 'I am a mortal yes, though I do not seek to work for mortal ends.'

A shadowy figure purrs, in arcane, 'So I see. Now, what ends do you work for?'

Wynliean says 'I never expect to become anything more than a mortal, but I do hope that while this body rests in the mortal realms it can be used to a good end.'

Wynliean states 'The ends to which Serachel's ideals can be used, and the ends to which I and others like me, can bring about the rising of the halls of the shunned.'

A shadowy figure beckons, in arcane, 'Which are..? Knowlege and power, of course, yet one does not accumulate either of those simply for recreational purposes.'

A shadowy figure leans back again, saying, in arcane, 'Mmm, yes. So I see.'

A shadowy figure offers, in arcane, 'Speak to me on your parents, and your reasons for slaying them.'

Wynliean chuckles politely.

Wynliean offers 'My mother was a somewhat learned mage of earth. And my father a rather barbaric rogue.'

Wynliean smirks 'Neither of them understood my ways, nor did they wish to accept them.'

Wynliean shakes his head lightly 'They were of evil design, yet worked to only see themselves richer and well fed for it.'

Wynliean offers 'How I could be linked to them, yet persue the very ideals that I do now.. I could not fathom, and thus freed myself from them.'

A shadowy figure purrs, in arcane, 'Tell me, how did you do it?'

Wynliean offers 'I had to wait until I had learned the more powerfull spells that I could learn. '

Wynliean states 'I had planned their deaths for some long months, and found my time to finish what needed to be done.'

Wynliean offers, closing his eyes as a wide smile crosses his face 'And while they slept that night in their beds.'

Wynliean> The figure's wings twitch slightly.local> The figure's wings twitch slightly.

Wynliean says 'Both of them having drank and ate after a rather good plunder, slept so soundly they never heard me enter thier homes.'

Wynliean states 'I had no one I could trust to do the job, and not tell of my delvings, so I was forced to do it myself.'

Wynliean states 'I entered their room, and sat quietly for some time watching them sleep and snore never knowing what was coming.'

A shadowy figure pries, in arcane, '..And?'

Wynliean opens his eyes, and says 'And as they slept, I used the small spells I had read, I gave myself strenght walking around their bed.'

Wynliean shrugs 'I then leaned over my mother, kissed her lips, and slit her throat as she looked in my eyes and cried unable to speak or scream.'

Wynliean smirks, the pauses a moment before saying 'My father slept through her death, never knowing his was soon to come.'

A shadowy figure asks, in arcane, 'And tell me, what did you do for him?'

Wynliean states 'I slit his throat as well, yet his heart was removed and placed in my pocket.'

Wynliean offers 'He was the reason I was unable to become what I wanted more so than my mother, and thus he was slain without remorese.'

A shadowy figure asks, in arcane, 'Did they travel with a band of bandits, or did they work for themselves?'

Wynliean states 'They did both, and chose which would aid them most.'

A shadowy figure nods slowly, saying, in arcane, 'Excellent. Now, speak to me on what you know of the Collective.'

Wynliean offers 'I have learned only that they live to like ends of my own.'
Wynliean states 'And like myself wish no one to know their true intentions, nor those whom dwell within.'

A shadowy figure nods slowly.

A shadowy figure offers, in arcane, 'You would be a member of the Pentagram, were you accepted.'

Wynliean nods.

Wynliean offers 'I do know that they hold two seperate bodies within.'

A shadowy figure pauses, then adds, in arcane, 'And would swear allegiance to Us for all time, for the rest of your mortal life and beyond.'

Wynliean nods at you.

A shadowy figure inquires, in arcane, 'Have you any questions for me, then?'

Wynliean offers 'None. As I said I would give what was needed to ensure what I seek.'

A shadowy figure says with a sleek laugh, in arcane, 'For one who seeks knowledge, you are far from inquisitive.'

A shadowy figure adds, in arcane, 'At least, rather one who -claims- to seek knowledge.'

Wynliean offers 'I do seek knowledge indeed, though I believe it better gained from within the halls than standing outside looking in.'

A shadowy figure says, her voice suddenly flat, in arcane, 'Such impulse to Know does not simply sprout out from nothing, scholar. There must be a seed of seeking within you first, before you are accepted.'

Wynliean offers 'Then I shall ask what I need to know then.'

A shadowy figure states, in arcane, 'Then do.'

Wynliean asks 'To what extent do the halls go to keep their kind secrete from the lands.'

Wynliean offers 'Far much more could be achieved at present without knowledge of existance within being known.'

A shadowy figure notes, in arcane, 'We 'secrete' nothing, on the whole. I do, yet I am far from common.' She gives a flowing laugh. 'We exist only in shadow, however, and work to keep the general realm's knowledge of us at a minimum.'

A shadowy figure notes, in arcane, 'I believe you meant "secret," however.'

Wynliean nods.

Wynliean asks 'And you said that I would become a member of the pentegram, there are I take it other factions?'

A shadowy figure notes, in arcane, 'There is one, the Ravens of War, the Vanguard.' She says, her voice indicating a smile, 'They are the ones who are usually the most.. noticable branch of the Collective.'

Wynliean nods.

A shadowy figure adds, in arcane, 'They will be the ones who fight off those who would attack Us.'

A shadowy figure asks, in arcane, 'Anything.. else?'

Wynliean asks 'And what then would be my exact role within the collective?'

A shadowy figure states, in arcane, 'It is as you define it, yet members of the Pentagram are usually students of Knowing, and priests of Truth.'

Wynliean nods.

A shadowy figure chuckles a moment, then repeats, in arcane, 'Anything.. else?'

Wynliean offers 'Nay that offers what I needed at this time.'

A shadowy figure tsks, in arcane, 'Your failure to ask the most obvious question is rather unsettling, scholar.'

A shadowy figure flaps her wings, rising from the chair on which she had been perched.

Wynliean asks 'And that would be what exactly?'

A shadowy figure states, in arcane, 'You have one chance to figure out what that question may be.'

A shadowy figure flaps her wings significantly, then gives a toss of her curly hair.

A shadowy figure folds her wings across her chest, waiting.

Wynliean states 'I have two actually.'

A shadowy figure repeats, in arcane, 'You have one chance to figure out what that question may be.'

A shadowy figure smirks, in arcane, 'Choose one of them.'

Wynliean ponders the question.

The shadowy figure raises her hand upward, and the shroud of darkness about her body begins to fade.

Yendri smiles faintly, saying, in arcane, 'And what, exactly, took you so long to think of that?'

Wynliean offers 'I had been wishing to know it since I first glimpsed your face before you slew the elder.'

Wynliean looks at you.
Yendri inquires, in arcane, 'And then why did you not ask?'

Wynliean states 'There were other things at the moment swirling in my mind that pressed me.'

Yendri chuckles dryly, saying, in arcane, 'Of course. You must learn, then, to suppress those thoughts that may appear pertinent at the moment, but truly are nothing more than an overactive curiousity.'

Wynliean nods.

Yendri smiles faintly, giving her wings a flap. She states, closing the gap between yourself and her, in arcane, 'Now. We shall deliberate on this, scholar.'

Wynliean offers a faint nod.

Yendri muses, in arcane, 'In that time, do try not to die.'

Wynliean smirks 'I tend to not do that very often.'

Yendri pauses, then adds, in arcane, 'And learn. I do not wish to speak with an addle-minded mortal again.'

Wynliean offers a faint chuckle.

With a smirk, Yendri reaches upward.local> With a smirk, Yendri reaches upward.

Yendri interlaces her fingers, and a shroud of darkness covers her form.

A shadowy figure states, in arcane, 'Until then, scholar.'

Wynliean nods.

Wynliean bows before you.

Wynliean> The figure departs in a curl of wispy darkness.
