- Bayyal the Bound God, Lord of Hatred.
- Currently impaled on marble-spires, bound with chains of ice over the Seal of Jolinn on a cliff overlooking paradise. Sorta unhappy about that.
- Tricked into getting trapped by Serachel, for whom the trap was set.
- Patron of Hatred, fire scholars\templars and evil nefortu.
- Lord or Hatred, tasks his followers (called Children of Bayyal) to destroy all things good and beautiful in the world, and allow their hatred to fester.
- Followers should depend on noone.
- Appears as a soot-black nefortu with eyes like furnaces. Exudes heat, naturally.
- Kills followers for failure. Or out of boredom.
- Low standards. If the Child fails, can always scrap him.
- Can only speak to people via a projection at the entrance to the lava lake within the Basalt Catacombs.
- Very, very bitter.
- Hates everyone. Even -you-.
