There are four active houses in Avendar:
Guardians of the Law, who protect the law of the land.
Champion, who fight in the name of the light.
Raiders of the Twilight, who steal, murder, rape, pillage, etc.
Shunned, who are tricksy and false.
There is also the Knights of Balance, formerly known as the Knights of Enaerai, who differ from traditional houses in that they do not have house powers and have actual stronghold defenses such as a gate, rather than badass inner vault defenses.
