Active (or presumedly active) deities and demi-gods
- These are represented by the immortal and implementor staff at times, and may interact with mortals (though some are semi-retired and don't appear much in Avendar, or are special cases, like Ashur). They are all presumed to exert an active influence on Avendar.

- Arkhural, the Bringer of Twilight
- Ashur, the Dragon of the Void
- Bayyal, the Lord of Hatred and Destruction
- Enaerai, the Lady of Balance

Mythical, historical, or destroyed deities and demi-gods
- These are not represented by the imm staff. They have been represented by imms in Avendar at one time, or have simply been created as part of the mythos of Avendar. It is presumed that there may be followers of these beings, yet their religions would be ancient, dying, or long dead.
- Players might chose to follow these deities, but would probably not have any response from the deity except in very, very rare and unusual cases. They are presumed not to exert an active influence on Avendar at present.
