Originally a minor power who wandered the planes, Chadraln was first attracted to Avendar by the events of the Sundering. After the fall of the alatharya, Chadraln remained, having finally found a world which intrigued him. A god who observes the fate of the mortal world, past, present, and future, Chadraln is the patron of historians and oracles. His followers tend to consist of historians and chroniclers who seek to research and record the past and present of Avendar. A select few study the future, seeking to predict events yet to come.
Under ordinary circumstances, Chadraln avoids direct intervention in the mortal realm, instead remaining an observor to see how things play out. This philosophy is encouraged among his followers, though by no means required. As such, while many of his followers may share his own true neutral alignment, any alignment may follow him. When he does appear in the mortal realm, he takes the form of a tall, scholarly caladaran.
Followers of Chadraln receive the mark of the Hourglass.
Possible follower rolls:
- Historian, seeks to research some event from Avendar's past(Sundering, War of Fire, War of Night, etc.)
- Chronicler, travels with and records the adventures of others(bards seeking material for songs, scholars seeking knowledge of currents events, etc.)
- Fortuneteller, tries to predict the future, rightly or wrongly(oracles, doomsayers, etc.)
There's my ideas. They could probably still use refining.
