Vaialos and Rystaia were born from the intense magically energies that abounded in the Ch'taren home plane. They were the epitome of all the philosophies of the Ch'taren people, Vaialos being peace, music, and beauty. He was kind, and believed in reason over action, and acceptance over change. While Rystaia was the golden sun, Vaialos was the silvery moon, and his light was one of calm and serenity.
When Ashur claimed the Ch'taren realm as his own, Vaialos' essence was entrapped in a single gem. In the time that has passed since, it is believed that the gem was taken from Ashur, and has since been lost.
