Dischordant overtones without a scale, Its audience of stars, a distant veil-- Commingled molten blaze and liquid misted, Shards of stone and hissing vapors twisted, Wreathed in glints of spirit's silver light And ringed in splintered shadows of void's night. In chaos unimaginable rolled The raw materials that formed the world.
