Code Adjustments
- There is a switch in the code for hero day (has to be set by coder, then code recompiled).
Build Adjustments
- hero day bot [3783] -- sets up skills, put in "The Beginning" [3700]
- the trainer [301] -- hands out red hero gear -- put where appropriate (VB Center Square?)
- hippy hero day bot [22891] -- use verb_prog safe <on/off> to make main byways of VB safe
Other
- at some point prior, post announcement to Avendar forum, TMS, TMC, Facebook group (example)
- update MOTD on prod, send note with info to help visitors (game environment/RP is nonstandard for the event)
- when event starts, post followups to the announcements elsewhere notifying that IT HAS BEGUN
- If changing rules helpfiles:
- carefully re-keyword the rules helpfile (eg usualrules)
- add rules keyword to the 'hero day' helpfile, change level to -1
