[ 56] Erstic: A scroll sealed with the crest of Iolanyea Tue Jul 29 08:41:00 2003 To: shunned I trust that the courier holding this parchment has found his way safely into your halls.

My name is Erstic Rasclonzea, heir to the high seat of the council of Iolanyea. I've come from my family and wealth under my fathers words to aid the collective as I have been instructed. My father feels that once more the knowing comes to power, as he once watched some years ago, and he sends me, his only son, to protect the interests of all involved. Though for now I shall give you some background of mine.

As I have said, I am the only son to the high seat of the council of Iolanyea. My father, like many within the council, hold special interest in the workings of your order and within the success of things to be. I myself have known for quite some time that this should be my calling, yet under these terms I was not aware. I have, like my fathers before me, been raised with the ways of the void all my life, though I chose the favor of the rapier of the more scholarly paths, this as well was quite atune to the ways of the dragon. You see, I myself am a seeker of the eternal, yet I know well that I have the special abilities that those true scholars of such have not, that of vigilence in death and the protection of their interests at all times.

My ways are that of complete and utter dedication, to the collective, my blades, and my father in that order. I've been taught well that sacrifice is a necessity to attain the true reaches of knowledge and to garner the things that so few others are willing to bring themselves to see. It is with this dedication that I have left my university, and travelled the many months to lower myself to study with such filth in these lands. I've no need of money or fame from those within the knowing, I seek only to further myself, and the collectives abilities at all things eternal and needed.

Thus, I send this scroll to the knowing, and with my fathers blessings intend to take with me what the council of Iolanyea has to offer.
