Eqqila
Eqqila Ulmayon (mob 200, use eqqila_equip verbprog to set up)
A fortune-telling ethron who will appear in Qilarn, Eqiril, or along the Arien Road and read fortunes from time to time. This can be random fun or perhaps a way to give clues for future or current happenings in the game.
She is, in fact, just a fortune-teller, but one with impressive power (she can play on info found in char backgrounds) and insight via her connection to Elar.
RULE 1: she asks for payment AFTER she reads the fortune ("How can I charge you before we know what I will give you? Rest assured that what I ask will be something within your means to give.")
Prices are most often RPing of something unusual (a fear, the giving up of a secret, a lock of hair, a tear, an honest smile, a drop of blood, the name of the person the char loves most) but can also be coin or EQ (never more than the character has, unless they've insulted her).
RULE 2: if the character doesn't pay, they're in for an (one) instance of Bad Luck -- after which a suitable echo in which the character remembers not paying Eqqila's price is given.
RULE 3: she will only reluctantly attempt to read the fortunes of lawful characters, especially those disassociated with nature.
Can have characters use draw card prog on Eqqila (easy approach: 3 cards, one for past, present, and future). This is just to give something to work with -- can go any route with fortune-telling, really. Read palms, load a crystal and look into it, whatever seems to work best in the situation.
