Shade

An insubstantial spirit creature, thought by many to be a kind of echo of the soul, a shade possesses the form and memories of one who has since died. Most shades tend to fade as they forget themselves over time, growing more and more insubstantial until disappearing completely. Spirit Scholars, particularly those of the Path of the Silver Light, have power and influence over such spirits.
