Here are the rules that should be followed.

  • Do not edit someone else's idea. You can add your comments to it, but leave the original text that they put down complete, so that they can modify it as they see fit, and so that others can see the idea for itself as well.
  • ALWAYS attach your name to your comments/ideas. If you have a comment on one particular section of someone else's idea, you can probably interject something inside, but if it's a general comment as a whole, put a horizontal line in (i.e. Use one of these:

    ), and then begin writing.
  • If a consensus between the originator and the commentator is reached, amend the original post. It's up to you if you want to keep the comments for posterity, but the idea is that we want to be reworking all of these things into a finalized, concrete form.
  • You can always feel free to add (so long as we know who did the adding), just don't subtract.
