- Herein lies the physical form of Sothmogga, the Blight of Celanim. The tentacled one attempted to assert his influence on this sphere by opening a permanent corridor between our world and his source of power. He was left momentarily vulnerable, and the renowned knight Converu sacrificed his life to stop Sothmogga's attempt. Sothmogga's crippled body now lies in this prison, though his soul is doubtless working foul deeds elsewhere.

- A 30' mass of writhing tentacles, flailing eyestalks, and noxious slime, the odious Sothmogga hisses and burbles in his cell. One of the creations of the Archmage Vila, who wielded the Nyakigah Sha Yith for several centuries, Sothmogga grew immensely in power when he defiled the Grove of the Celanim and drained the power of their trees. So strong had he become that he sought to open a permanent portal between the ruined Grove and this, our own world. Left momentarily vulnerable, Sothmogga was impaled by the templar Converu, and thus his ravages were halted.
