A deity who observes and records the fate of the world, Chadraln is a patron of historians, oracles and others who seek knowledge of the past, present or future. Originally a minor power who wandered the planes in search of interesting worlds, Chadraln was attracted to Avendar by the events surrounding the Sundering. After the fall of the alatharya, Chadraln remained, intrigued by the possibilities that this world offered.

Followers of Chadraln share his interest in the knowledge of the world, and seek to research and record the happenings of Avendar. As Chadraln himself seeks to avoid direct intervention in the mortal realm, his followers are encouraged to remain impartial. This is not required however, and followers of Chadraln may bear any alignment or ethos.

Any who seek audience with Chadraln should visit a library or other such establishment of learning, and call upon him. Those whom Chadraln finds worthy will be marked will the sigil of the Hourglass.
