The Savannah Road
  Running north and south through the savannah, this road cuts a wide path
through the surrounding grass.  Small white stones line both sides of the
path, a thin boundary separating the road from the intruding grass.  The
grass on either side of the path is thick and lush, but remains passable. 
To the south, the road meets with a long wash, but in all other directions
the savannah continues.

Ykshak holds up a hand to his waist, about four feet from the ground.

Wynliean shakes his head 'I was but perhaps eight when they were slain, maybe younger.'

Ykshak frowns, in nefortu, 'They.. owe us.'

Ykshak snorts, in nefortu, 'I did some bad things when I was eight, boy. Don't you try and confuse me!'

Wynliean offers 'I would imagine that they do, they seemed to owe quite a few people actually.'

Wynliean gets a bowl of beef broth from a belt woven from sturdy leaves.

A nefortu thug snarls, regathering his confidence, in nefortu, 'Yeah, yeah. 'N we wanna collect, see? So tell'us where they are, or pay up!'

Ykshak nods at the thug, ominously cracking his knuckles again.

Wynliean asks 'And what exactly was it that they owed you?'

You smirk.

Wynliean looks between the pair of you, his large eyes glimmering.

Wynliean smirks 'I am a rather pleasent man of course.'

west, cutting across the plains which give it its namesake.  Inside, the
Arien Plaza opens, marking the beginning of Earendam proper.
