A shrewd, stern woman with a matronly bent, Alaran is a member of the Lsakia Tribe in the Arid Waste. In her youth she was a formidable weaponless fighter, but lately has embraced the idea of trade. Currently she oversees most of the financial affairs of the tribe, and the rest of the tribe is more than happy to let her.
