I am Durigan Ralesphant, student of the martial and seeker of the
collective.  Surely my past has been known throughout your halls for years,
in my dealings with the pacts of the old truths of the lands as a child.  My
deeds are of course known to you and of my fathers demise.  What I write to
seek is the truth that I was only offered a glimpse of as a child.  Of the
purity of truth and knowledge that can not been learned within a guild or
library but only with self sacrifice.  

What I pen is not a scroll seeking self improvement or self wealth, were I
that self minded my skills as a warrior would go to the chaos, but it is not
so I seek to breed myself into the truth of the chosen of the collective and
give myself at will to the fiber of the very beings of knowledge.  While my
mind is not as adept at studious work my body is fitted for the life of a
warrior and given as such to protecting the very base of your seekers of the
arcanium.  I trust that my delvings and pain as a child has not led me to
anything less then purity of mind and body, leaving my soul as a means to
seal the very thing that I seek.
