Haj-Ra, the Insane Worm of Yra, is herein contained that his voracious advances may never again plague the dimensions. Hailing from the dark world of Yra, the hunger of Haj-Ra devoured all that was precious. Thus he went forth with his vile spawn, the C'thsa worms, and spread across the many lands. At last he was defeated by the Champion Eiliam, and his appetite is now bound by these walls.

Description

Haj-Ra is an enormous, black-plated C'thsa worm. His 20' body is encased in a thick layer of chitin, and no sensory organs are visible. Hailing from the black world of Yra, Haj-Ra bred his loathsome spawn, the C'thsa worms, and set out to devour the many worlds of the universe. He was only stopped when the Titans intervened, stripped him of much of his power, and confined him in this cell. Here he has rested for over 8,000 years.

Plaque in the Hall of Pillars (8442)

The bas-relief on this pillar depicts the battle to stop the spread of the horrific C'thsa worms, whose ravenous advances nearly overran this world two millennia ago. At the center of the scene is Eiliam, past champion of the Titans, struggling with the Insane Haj-Ra, father of the C'thsa worms.
