Jolinn 

The God of the Sapphire Spear, Jolinn is the patron God of the Champions. His followers bear the sigil of the Sapphire Spear.

• Jolinn is one of the Three, the most powerful deities in Avendar.
• Known as Iolin, or Iolen, in the ancient tongues
• Jolinn's contribution to the creation of Avendar was life.
• Jolinn used a great portion of his divine might to save the world from ruin following the Sundering. As a result of this, he slept for many eons, awakened only by a band of human and aelin at the height of the War of Fire.
• Jolinn set Serachel, a servitor celestial being, to aid the aelin after the War of Fire. Serachel later betrayed Jolinn during the War of Night, leading the aelin into the worship of the Void.
• Patron deity and founder of the Champions, who worship him as their patron deity
• Has symbols of a sapphire spear (sigil), and a diamond shield (less widely used)
• Venerated by most human, aelin, caladaran, and ethron communities. Considered the patron deity of Krilin.
• Most common avatar is an ageless human with silver hair and flowing blue robes.
• Has spoken in the past as the 'still, quiet voice of the seas'
• His appearance is often heralded by a soft blue light
• Considered the patron deity of the magics of water and healing
• Closely allied with Converu, Aeolis, and most other deities of the light (who presumably view him as the High God of their pantheon)
• Embodies principles of Purity, Protection, and Unity
• Has a heart of coal (anthracite, not bituminous)
