Yorna

Yorna 

Yorna are magical undead creatures. They are wraiths who have been transformed via dark powers into something more. Yorna can shift shape and take the form of beautiful young women, so as to lure their food, men, away from safety and to their deaths.

In their true form, they are a creature of shadows and darkness, somewhat insubstantial, though fangs and claws are physical enough. Their eyes burn like blue flame.

There is a yorna on Alensha, and there may be others throughout Avendar.
